...And so I decided to get involved in the 100 days of DIY (Do It Yourself). I got the idea from Pinterest but mine will be slightly different in terms of the DIY things that I would do. So I did self-confessed that I am a DIY freak and goddess (which I am not but I would like to think I am) here's some of the things I would like to do:
1. DIY hair accessories (lots of designs, patterns going through my mind).
- hairbands
- hairpins
- hair turbans
- hair bows
I saw some of my friends from Instagram posted their own DIY hairbands. Love the designs! People even started to ask her to make for them and she's making money out of it!
2. DIY skincare. Can't wait to try this one! I have few ideas in mind. The fun side is it's going to be au naturale.
3. DIY dresses. When I was a kid, my mom used to sew dresses for me. It would be such a waste if I don't learn how to sew.
4. DIY candles.
Why DIY when you can buy them?
- saves money
- turn waste/trash/old things into treasure
- just as a hobby
- just to challenge yourself. You never know what you can do until you try or your potential.
- side income? Etsy here I come!
